Best place to start a healthy controversy about art:  This month, the Jef Bourgeau's ever-changing Museum of New Art is supposed to relocate from Pontiac to downtown Detroit’s Book Building. 

Confined by space, but with an abundance of ambition, MONA is the place where most discussions begin, “You call that art?!”

Getting visitors to ask that question is a step toward a broader appreciation of self-expression.
