The Museum of New Art (MONA), a non-profit devoted to promoting the visual arts in Detroit since 1996, proudly announces the opening of the Store: featuring original artwork priced at $150 each. And now, for a short time only, matted and framed work for $50!

With Detroit's tough economy, the MONA is challenged with finding new ways to maintain the rigor and excellence of its exhibitions. "We're considering the Store an ongoing fundraiser. The pot is shrinking and the need is growing. It's difficult but we're going to do this," said board member Christina Speaks.

All artwork is available either on paper or canvas, in varying sizes from 8x10 inches to 3x4 feet. You are invited to visit our new showroom from Thursday through Saturdays, from 1 until 6pm - or by appointment.
