CALL FOR ENTRIES

OPEN CALL TO ALL ARTISTS

THE MICHIGAN INSTITUTE FOR THE ARTS (MIA): announces its 3rd open exhibition at its annex in Pontiac, titled

MICHIGANOW: III

This space has been created using the model of nominal entry fees ($5) for artists to have their work judged for an open exhibition. Important members of the art community, within the region and beyond, are invited to jury each show. The strategy is to engage and expose curators and collectors with emerging and established Michigan artists.

The selected work is then exhibited for sale.

The Juror for this new exhibition, MICHIGANOW: III, will be Stephan Loginsky.

Stephan Loginsky is a major collector of national, international and Michigan art. He has also influenced and sat on boards and committees for all the major art institutions in the region.

Drop off for works will be April 19 through May 13 (excluding April 27,28, 29) from 1 until 5 pm.

Call for drop-off arrangements:  248-210-7560

There will be a 2 piece limit, and size restrictions (6 feet or less, in either width or height).

All works must be show ready. Artists are responsible for insurance of their
works. (MIA will not be responsible for any damage.)

Those works not accepted must be picked up before the current exhibition : May 17 (Wednesday)  through May 20 (Saturday), from 1 until 6 pm.
